How to be a nudist @ Barefeet Naturist Resort

Rules and Manners (ภาษาไทย)

Guest Rules for Resorts that display the logo of Naturist Association Thailand

We strive hard to provide a wholesome naturist accommodation experience for all Thai naturists as well as visiting international naturists to enjoy. Please help protecting our resort from infiltration by sex seeking individuals and safeguard our contribution to a healthy body and mind development.

Nudity

Nudists are comfortable not wearing any clothes but for guests who are not yet ready there is a house coat in each room or a towel that you can wear.

Sex

No sexual activity is allowed anywhere except in your room. This includes intimate touching that you would not do in a public place outside the resort.

Photos

Taking photos or making video recordings is not allowed without permission. Please ask each time that you want to take a selfie with your mobile phone. See more below about taking selfies and photos.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in your room but you may smoke outside your room and where it does not bother other guests.

Visitors

Your friends are welcome to visit you while staying at the resort. Make sure they accept our naturist concept before they arrive. Short time sexworkers are not permitted.

Speak up

We want all our guests to have a pleasant time while staying at our resort. If you feel someone is rude, staring at you, taking your picture or in any other way making you feel uncomfortable, please speak up and let our staff know.

About taking photos:

These days, we all take selfies. Nudists staying at Barefeet Naturist Resort also love to take pictures. When doing this, keep in mind that you can NOT take photos or make video recordings during your stay at Barefeet Naturist Resort where ANYONE else can be seen in your photo unless you have asked them specifically if they want to be in your photo and they have specifically agreed to be in your photo. We take your privacy very seriously! If you see anyone taking photos that may include you without having asked you, please ask them to delete the image immediately and please also mention the incident to the resort management.

Good manners

Be kind and mindful towards others. Introduce yourself but do not intrude if the other guest does not invite for further conversation. Inform the staff if you feel someone is bothering you and we will deal with it discreetly right away.

Sit on something..  Please carry a towel with you at all times and always use this to sit on.

Smoking is allowed in the lounge area outside your room and anywhere else if it doesn’t bother other guests. Smoking in the rooms is not permitted.

Singles are welcome..  Barefeet Naturist Resort is geared towards couples, but singles are also very welcome. Minimum age is 18 years old except for children accompanied by their parents or legal guardian (proof required) are accepted.

Gay friendly..  gay singles and gay couples are welcome. Naturism is not a sexual orientation, we are people like anywhere else.

Visitors…  genuine friends are welcome to visit you while staying at Barefeet Naturist Resort, Your guest must follow the same rules and guidelines as a registered guest, including fully understand our non-sexual, clothes free environment. If by “friend” or “visitor” you mean a short time sex partner, we do not approve of this. Never bring a friend without having explained naturism to them before they arrive.

Do I need to take off my clothes as soon as I am inside the resort? No, but this is a naturist resort and we expect our guests to be comfortable with this. If you prefer to wear something at first, we suggest that you wear only a towel or sarong.  Women can certainly wear bottoms during their monthly period. First time naturists will find plenty of support and understanding if they prefer to wait a bit with taking off their clothes. For most naturists, the first time is a big step.

Do I need to be a member of a club or association in order to stay at the resort? We welcome all naturist/nudists at the Barefeet Naturist Resort. However, as a member of the Naturist Association of Thailand we encourage all members to sign up for the free membership – and get all the invitations for events and outings.

Practical information

Airport transfers:
Most people prefer to take the public taxi from the airport to the resort. Driving time is 45 minutes to 1 hour. The taxi fare is calculated by meter plus 50 baht add on for airport fee. Normally, the fare will end on 350 baht to 380 baht. If you prefer, we may arrange pick up, but honestly it is too expensive. It is easier to call +66 9 6889 1112 when you are in a regular taxi and ask us to talk to the driver to ensure he understands how to get here the fastest way.

Transfer to Pattaya:
If you wish to go to Pattaya to stay at our sister resort Chan Resort there, we can arrange for a taxi. The fare is 1800 to 2000 Baht if you go door-to-door. Driving time is 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours and you will be requested to pay for the highway fees. You can bring down the cost if you take a taxi to the Airport and then the airport shuttle bus to Pattaya.

WiFi – Internet access:
Wireless Internet service is provided free of charge all around the resort.

Cash:
Purchases and extra consumption can be added to your room bill and paid at departure rather than when you order. You will only need to have cash on hand to tip your massage therapist, tour guide or that extra bit for housekeeping.

Payment:
The resort accepts major credit cards or online payments. If you need cash, ATM’s are close by that accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and major credit cards.

Check-in and check-out times:
Generally check in after 1 p.m. and check out before 12 noon. We understand the nature of international travel and will amend check in and checkout time as necessary and available as always it is at manager’s discretion.

Concierge:
There is a staff to accommodate special requests and to help set up your day tours or transfers to next resort.

Drinking water:
Water for drinking, cooking and ice cubes is purified. You may safely use the water in the bathroom for brushing your teeth. Bottled water is provided.

Electrical voltage:
All of Thailand in 220 voltage, you may want to bring your own plug adapter.

Housekeeping:
Maid service is provided to make up your bed every day.

Laundry:
Let our laundry service wash the clothes you arrived in so you can wear them home and have even less to pack. There is an extra fee.

Meal times:
Breakfast is served from 8.00 -10.00; lunch from 12:30 -16.00; and dinner from 17:30-21.00 p.m. Self service in our kitchen is an option at any time day or night during the stay.

There are several hospitals within a circle of half an hour by car from the resort. Be sure to bring all your prescription medications. If you have a medical emergency rest assured we can provide assistance in getting to them.

Pets:
Please ask before bringing your pet to the resort. In general, we are happy when you are 🙂

Phone service:
There is excellent mobile phone service in Thailand or you can use your laptop to access the Skype network. We also sell prepaid local simcards and help you install it.

Rental car or motorbike:
The concierge can arrange a rental car or motorbike for a day or longer so you can take your own excursions. For your convenience, the vehicle will be dropped off at the resort and picked up when you are finished.

Tipping:
Tips for the resort staff (staff and housekeepers) are included in your fees. But if you would like to give a little extra I am sure they would appreciate it. Tips for extra services like massages or tours are at your discretion.
